About Banos del Carmen

La Playa-Balneario Nuestra Señora del Carmen, better known as the Baños del Carmen is an enclave to the east of the city of Malaga, around a 30 minute walk from the centre The old spa comprises a central pavilion and with large terraces, and wonderful views of the city to the west. It was built on the ruins of Monte San Telmo in the 1920s as a leisure space with segregated private bathing for the upper classes of the time.
