About Gibralfaro

Mount Gibralfaro is surrounded by pine trees and is to the north of the historic centre, it is the foot hills to the Montes de Malaga national park. The castle and the Alcazaba were built here due to its elevated position, it has some of the best views of the bay and city. It also easily accessible, and is only a short walk from the city centre.
